Healthy Children, Stronger Communities

Malnutrition is the underlying cause of more than one-third of all childhood deaths. The prices of basic foods such as rice, maize, wheat, oil, sugar, and salt are skyrocketing, forcing millions of the world's poorest children into severe malnourishment and starvation.

In many parts of the world, even children with full bellies lack the essential nutrients and vitamins they need to reach their full potential. A malnourished child is less able to fight off illness, struggles to make the most of their education, and often experiences physical and mental stunting. Malnutrition keeps children trapped in a cycle of poverty.

ICDS is dedicated to safeguarding every child's right to survival through proper nutrition and quality healthcare. We believe that every, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our proactive approach focuses on reducing malnutrition and improving key health indicators such as infant and child mortality rates. By connecting communities to vital government services and benefits, we strive to create a healthier future for all children in.

Despite India's 50% increase in GDP since 2013, more than one third of the world's malnourished children live in India. Among these, half of the children under three years old are underweight and a third of wealthiest children are over-nutrient. Women who suffer malnutrition are less likely to have healthy babies
