ICDS is dedicated to improving the lives and futures of India’s most vulnerable children. We accomplish this by partnering with grassroots communities, supporters in India and around the world, civil society, corporations, and local and national governments to create an environment where all children are educated, healthy, protected, and valued.

We measure our success not with the numbers, but the quality we deliver. We are a small nonprofit entity , rapidly progressing by promising our beneficiaries, the best of what we can do. Our systematic approach and experience from the past work, enable us with high quality deliverables. ​

Our work is facilitated through Community Development Programmes (CDPs). This developmental model focuses on long-term engagement in specific geographical areas to transform the lives of children and their communities. When we launch an CDP, we assess the community's needs and develop a collaborative plan that aligns with their vision for their children.

 

Together, we review existing initiatives, identify additional opportunities, and explore what we can achieve collectively. We implement programs aimed at ensuring access to nutrition, healthcare, water and sanitation, quality education, and sustainable livelihoods for the well-being of children. Ensuring a safe childhood is central to our mission, which we pursue by building communities that are secure and nurturing for children.ICDS also provides life-saving support during disasters. We are committed to long-term rehabilitation, helping communities affected by natural disasters or conflicts to regain their footing. Additionally, we work to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities, enabling them to respond quickly when disasters occur.
